The Cali Mission Timer is a military inspired divers watch. It features a high readability matte black dial with white printed numerals in C1 Super-LumiNova®. The minute track pays homage to vintage military watches and features 12 triangle hour markers printed with BGW9 Super-LumiNova®. This creates a dynamic and unique dual-compound luminous dial that glows both green and blue.
The flat bezel insert is ceramic to increase strength and durability. The markers on the bezel are in a Mission Timer configuration with a lume pip at 12pm, making it easy to track elapsed time or set a marker for the end of a span of time. This version has a white paint infil in the bezel insert markers. The bezel itself is a 120 click uni-directional bezel.
The hands are in a Milsub style. These hands were made famous by the Rolex Submariner ref: 5513/5517 which were issued to the British Royal Navy divers in the 1960’s and 70’s. The hands are also filled with C1 Super-LumiNova® to match the lume of the dials numerals.The case is a solid 39.5mm brushed 316L stainless steel case, with a uni-directional bezel. It also features a screw down crown and a screwed-down style case back.
The ‘top hat’ style sapphire crystal has a blue tinted anti-reflective coating (on the underside only) and so provides great performance in every light condition.
Timing is done by the Seiko NH3X series automatic movements (such as the NH35, NH36 or NH38) which run at 21600bph and have 41h power reserve. Like all good military field watches this movement features a hacking seconds hand, meaning the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out into setting position. This makes regulation and synchronisation much more accurate.
It comes with a 20mm ribbed style NATO strap with brushed stainless steel hardware.
Secondary strap comes in the form of a black FKM and sailcloth hybrid two-piece strap
