The Dual Zone Vintage is a military inspired divers watch. It features a high readability matte black dial with vintage yellow printed numerals or a matte white dial with vintage yellow printed numerals. Both dials have green glowing luminova. The bezel insert is gloss ceramic with vintage yellow filled numerals. The bezel is in a ‘12 Hour’ or ‘dual zone’ configuration, allowing the wearer to track a second time zone on the bezel itself or track elapsed hours on a mission.
The hands are in a Milspec style and have an arrow second hand to complete the vintage look of the watch. This style of hands were made famous by the vintage dive watches of the 1950’s and 60’s. The hands are also filled with C1 Super-LumiNova® to match the lume of the dial.
The case pays homage to the dive watches of the 1950’s offered to military and navy personnel. It is made from 316L stainless steel and has a matte black PVD finish. It also features a uni-directional bezel, screw-down crown and a screw-down style case back with sapphire glass exhibition window (so you can view the movement).
The vintage top-hat style sapphire crystal has a blue tinted anti-reflective coating (on the underside only) and so provides great performance in every light condition.
Timing is done by the Seiko NH35A automatic movements which run at 21600bph and have 41h power reserve. Like all good military watches this movement features a hacking seconds hand, meaning the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out into setting position. This makes regulation and synchronisation much more accurate.
It comes with a 20mm FKM rubber tropic style divers two-piece strap with a black PVD buckle.
Secondary strap comes in the form of a ribbed nylon NATO strap with black PVD hardware.
