Cali: Milspec Diver

The Cali Milspec Diver is a military inspired divers watch. It features a high readability matte black dial with white printed numerals. The hands are in the Milspec diver style such as the ones made famous by vintage military watches such as the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 3H. This was a watch created in 1975 for the West German Bundeswehr Kampfschwimmers (German Navy Combat divers). The case also pays homage to the Fifty Fathoms 3H Watch – originally manufactured by Squale and currently used on the Squale 50 Atmos series of watches.
Cali: Vintage Diver

The Cali Bronze Vintage Diver is a military inspired divers watch. It features a high readability matte black dial with white printed numerals. The bezel insert is ceramic to increase strength and durability.
The hands are in the Milsub style. These hands were made famous by the Rolex Submariner ref: 5513/5517 which were issued to the British Royal Navy divers in the 1960’s and 70’s. The case pays homage to the Fifty Fathoms Watch – specifically the Aqua Lung version of the 1950’s. It is made from a solid piece of CuSn8 bronze so will produce an oxidised patina over time or brushed 316L stainless steel. It also features a uni-directional bezel, screw-down crown and a screw-down style case back.
Cerakote pieces
All cases and parts are painted and cured using Cerakote by a professional workshop. Cerakote is a ceramic-based finish that can be applied to metals, wood or synthetics to provide a weatherproof, stable, durable, impact-resistant and corrosion-proof finish.
Hydro Dipped Pieces
All cases and parts are hydro-dipped in a professional workshop. Hydro dipping is a surface decorating technology that allows you to apply complex designs and artwork to 3-dimensional items. The process is also called “Water Transfer Printing” and “hydrographics”.
Hand Painted Dials
The ‘Splatter Series’ was a series of watches which contained hand painted dials using a Jackson Pollock splatter technique.
